has been doing in the community.
John Smith Team Food Bank
Each year the John Smith Team fills our moving truck with generous food donations from shoppers at Darrenkamp's Elizabethtown Market and Karn's Quality Foods in Hershey. We distribute the donations to the Elizabethtown Food Bank and The Hershey Food Bank. Even the John Smith Team Happy House has a great time collecting food!
This year we gathered over 400 items! "You all did a great job! Our appreciation to the entire John Smith Team." Odette Bergloff
Thank you for sharing the blessings of Thanksgiving with others in our community.

Elizabethtown Fair One highlight the John Smith Team looks forward to at the end of the summer is the Elizabethtown Fair. It is always a great week of delicious food, lively music, farm animals, competitions and seeing friends and clients. The John Smith Team booth is present at the fair every year to say 'hello' and to inform you of what is happening in the current real estate market. You can browse our large display of existing homes for sale and our new home communities. Enter drawings to win Dinner for Two as well as gifts for children. Sign the kids up for the John Smith Team Reading Club to encourage reading and win great prizes. As always Happy House, our team mascot, will be dancing outside near our booth, just waiting to shake your hand and pose for a photo with the kids! The Giving Tree Elizabethtown College's, Kathy Christopher and her staff created "The Giving Tree" to give their students the opportunity to bring joy to children in the local area. Kathy was inspired when she drove past the John Smith Team office and recalled our Team's yearly Toy Bank collection and called on us to assist her. As an outreach to their community, the students constructed a 15-foot platform tree and adorned it with 400 stockings filled with toys. Campbell's Soup generously donated 400 cans of soup and the students donated $500. John, Eileen and the John Smith team joined Kathy and her team to load the donations in the truck. All donations were transported to the Water Street Rescue Mission in Lancaster. John and Kathy were interviewed by Amy Kehm with WHTM 27. This amazing effort by Elizabethtown College really brings the spirit of the season alive!
