The two public schools located in the Cedar Crest area — Cedar Crest Middle School and Cedar Crest High School — are part of the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. Union Canal Elementary School, South Lebanon Elementary School, Ebenezer Elementary School, and Cornwall Elementary School are the other four schools within this public school system.

Its Local History
Since the late 1960s, Cedar Crest has had a front-row seat to all the fun at the Lebanon Area Fair. Local residents who wanted a permanent place for 4-H Club members to compete bought the farm (literally) and purchased what's now the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds.
