Its Local History

Local communities like Rapho Township were founded in the mid 1700s as small settlements. Over several decades during the 1700s and 1800s, glassmakers, shoemakers, and carpenters established businesses in this area as the population slowly increased. In the late 1800s, Manheim High School was established and served students up until 1959, when the current high school was constructed.
